Each student is equipped with the academic and life skills, knowledge, values and attitudes to be an effective communicator, reflective thinker and responsible citizen. |

To be an effective communicator each student:

- speaks, listens, reads, views and writes with enjoyment, purpose, effect and confidence in a wide range of contexts.
To be academically skilled each student:
- uses the eight Key Learning Areas - Maths, English, Science, Health and PE, Language Other Than English (LOTE), The Arts, Technology and Study of Society and Environment (SOSE) - as tools for problem solving, communicating and reasoning.
To be confident and self reliant each student:
- respects themselves and others
- possesses resilience and flexibility
- has a positive attitude
- is courteous and considerate
- appreciates and enjoys life
- fosters personal health and self-esteem
